Father Michael Sis will present “Faith and Work: Who’s on First.” Father Sis, the diocesan Vocation Director, will discuss the intricate relationship between our faith and our work. Our faith gives profound meaning to our work and influences how we carry it out. And our work allows us to participate in God’s creative power and enriches our faith. So which comes first?
We usually meet in a local restaurant at 6:30 p.m. for dinner and mingling, the speaker begins between 7:15 and 7:30 p.m. and the evening ajourns at 9 p.m.

Alan Ames has been speaking and praying healings around the world since 1994. He was blessed to speak with church approval at World Youth Day 2002 in Toronto, where he conducted three talks. Also, in 2004, again with church approval, he spoke at two of the holiest sites in Christiandom; the Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth and St. Catherine’s, the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. Alan shares his unique conversion experiences that caused a dramatic change in his life from a violent alcoholic to a man of the Sacraments and prayer. Alan has been graced with a gift of healing, a close union with Jesus in His Passion, and a mystical prayer life that he shares at conferences and churches around the world.
