March for Mothers

October 27, 2007

olg_full.jpgOn Oct. 27, I will be participating in the fourth annual March for Mothers, benefiting the Annunciation Maternity Home in Georgetown, Texas. The mission of the home is to provide women in crisis pregnancy, and their children, with housing, education opportunities and health services to empower them in their journey toward independence.
What I’m asking from you is, if you are able, to sponsor me! I don’t have to collect the money right now … the organization will send a letter to you to collect the pledges after the walk. So if you’re able to help out, just e-mail me back the following information with your pledge amount:
Name:
Address:
City:
State:
Zip:
Pledge amount ($10, $20, $50, $100, other):
If you’re able to help, great. If not, there’s no pressure from me, either! Just trying to do my part in promoting pro-life activities.
Thanks, Jen Jones

Prayer Request

October 19, 2007toOctober 20, 2007

woohlogo_color2.jpgI’d like to add a page or a blog section for prayer requests - what do y’all think? My first prayer request would be for the success of the Young Adult Ministry Conference, God’s Love: Written on Our Hearts. Let us pray that those who need to be ministered to are ministered to and that this is a fruitful event. Let us pray that the Holy Spirit touches the hearts of the people who attend and that people are transformed into better Christians.

Amen - I believe!
