City-wide Prayer for Christian Unity with Music from Taizé

A city-wide prayer for Christian unity will be held Friday, December 14th, from 8 to 9 p.m. at St. Mary Cathedral, 203 E. 10th St. (one block east of Congress). Join Austin-area Christians for this ecumenical candlelight prayer service consisting of contemplative prayer with the music from Taizé, Scripture readings, and silent prayer. November Prayer Vigil

The November Prayer Vigil for Life is scheduled for Saturday, November 17th at St. Ignatius Church in Austin. Rev Joseph Tomei, CSC will be the main celebrant at the Mass which will begin at 7:30 am. Following Mass adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be in the church and a car caravan will travel to Austin Women Abortion Facility at 1902 S
I-35 (between Woodland and South Oltorf) in Austin where the Mysteries of the Rosary will be prayed at the site from 8:20 – 10:00 a.m.
Benediction will follow at St. Ignatius Church at 10:20 am with refreshments served afterwards. All are invited to attend. Call the Office of Pro-Life Activities for more information at 512-238-1756.
