St. Mary’s Catholic Center in College Station is heading out on Nun Run XII this week and there is still space available on the van. Are you curious about religious life? Would you like to visit some convents to see how the sisters really live? Are you wondering what the differences are in contemplative, contemplative/active and apostolic orders? This summer’s trip, from August 16 - 22, is heading to the Nashville Dominicans with stops along the way at a few other religious communities to take a sneak peak inside the walls of different convents. A Lenten Coffeehaus Series for Young Adults
Join us this Lent for ‘Holy Grounds’ where the java is hot, the company is cool and Jesus Christ is definitely happening. Let’s learn how to use this Lent to make our lives truly Holy Ground. Bring Yourself - Bring a Friend!
Beginning at 6:30, we’ll share social time and allow everyone to order coffee and snacks before listening to the evening’s speaker and an opportunity to engage in small group discussions which will begin at 7:00 pm.
