SUNDAY, MARCH 25th, 6:30p.m.-7:30p.m.,
ST. MARY CATHEDRAL

Group Rosary at 6:30pm (after 5:30pm Mass) at the Bishop’s Hall at St. Mary’s Cathedral, led by Alexandra Budziszewski. Alexandra, who leads the Rosary before daily Mass at St. Mary’s, has agreed to lead a rosary group for us this Sunday. We will meet in the back of the Cathedral after 5:30pm Mass and proceed over to the Bishop’s Hall (40 feet East of the Cathedral). Bring your special intentions and a Rosary (or we’ll provide one). Contact Joe Geisler at joe.geisler@gmail.com or 589-3876 for more info.

Alexandra’s thoughts on the Rosary (from Jen Jones’ e-newsletter):

I would have to say that leading the Rosary has been one of the most rewarding experiences for me. Instead of just reading and listening to the gospels, the Rosary gives me a chance to pray the gospels. I write my own meditations for each decade, and this gives me a chance to grow in my own spiritual life. Putting together meditations from the truths that are conveyed through the Mysteries is sometimes hard, yet it encourages me to really listen to God and to trust Him more.

FRIDAY, APRIL 20th, 8:00p.m.-9:00p.m.,
ST. MARY CATHEDRAL

The Catholic young adult groups throughout Austin have come together in the past for monthly multi-parish Happy Hours. Now, join us for a monthly multi-parish SPIRITUAL Hour.

Taize St. Mary Cathedral is the host to a Taize service which is held 4 times a year. It is a candlelight prayer service consisting of contemplative prayer with the music from Taizé, Scripture readings, and silent prayer. A unique, beautiful, and spiritually-uplifting service that every Catholic in Austin should experience at least once. This service is offered as a city-wide prayer for Christian unity.

St. Mary Cathedral is located at 203 E. 10th St. (one block east of Congress).
