This seminar on addiction has an emphasis on pornography. It is sponsored by the Diocese of Austin and takes place on Friday, August 17, 2007 from 9:30 a.m to 3 p.m. in the Parish Activity Center at Holy Trinity, Corn Hill. Some startling statistics:

* 68 million daily pornographic search engine requests
* 2.5 billion daily pornographic e-mails
* 100, 000 Web sites offering illegal child pornography
* 47% Christians said pornography is a major problem in the home
Two speakers with extensive education in addiction and family life promise to give a thorough presentation with intervention techniques and real life applications.
